Hannah Gerres, Instructor

Hannah Gerres has an endless curiosity of people and the human body. Her passion for movement began at early age where sports and her love for the outdoors grew strong, continued through the years and led her to receive a B.S in Physiology. Hannah spent the next ten years running her own personal training and nutrition program on the East Coast and in NZ. 

After spending time in India studying meditation, Hannah started to see the value and success in mindful movement practice. She returned to the states and that is where Pilates found her. She soon realized after self teaching her classes for a year that this was her calling and received her Advanced teacher training certificate through the renowned classical Pilates Center of Boulder CO.  Hannah has been teaching internationally in France, India, and London, where her knowledge of anatomy and movement has grown.

Play is the highest form of research." Albert Einstein stated. What better topic of research than you! I challenge my clients to stay curious, to appreciate where they are in their own journey of self-discovery and I am committed to their own versions of success. Joseph Pilates intention in my words was to help create a world where life is lived to its fullest expression, enjoying everything with "zest and pleasure" as he so often states. I will hold you accountable and I hope you hold me there as well. You will learn the transitions, how to move your equipment, the order, and yes you will have fun.  Finding the joy and playfulness in this work will bring a deeper connection to you, your body and mind. Not only will you see the benefits of Pilates in your physical structure, you will live it in every daily task you do!
