Do you know that Pilates is a great way to stay strong and comfortable during your pregnancy as well as maintain your stamina in preparation for labor? Pilates works to keep your abdominals, back, and pelvic floor muscles toned throughout the many stages of your pregnancy. It works with gentle resistance via the equipment to safely challenge the body in a controlled and mindful way.  Pilates will help you to have a healthy and happy pregnancy as well as an easier return to a strong body after the baby has arrived.

There are many benefits to Prenatal Pilates. This six-week series will allow you to stay fit and relaxed during this important time in your life. Our clients have found that they were able to have a more comfortable pregnancy and that they had the core strength they needed when it came time to deliver. You will also be able to get back into shape faster after your delivery if you stay in shape during pregnancy with Prenatal Pilates. Don’t forget to get consent from your doctor or midwife before signing up!

Handstand Series

Handstand Series

A six-week series class to build up the strength and stamina in the shoulders and abs necessary to stand with control on the hands. Warm up, conditioning, and progressions for those with no experience as well as for those who can get to hand stand but struggle staying. Based on the Russian circus method (meaning, straight and still...no banana walking!!) and taught by veteran Pilates teacher and aerialist, PJ.
